New wedding package at SAphoto… the “Engage it”!

Filed under: Wedding package — saphoto @ 10:38 pm

Today I met an awesome polish couple, Dagmara and Wojtek. They will wed on August 29th and I’m honoured they decided to book SAphoto (right on the spot in a coffee shop) for their wedding day!

They liked everything in the “DVD it” package but they really wanted an engagement session (not included in that package). Since they were willing to part with the Slideshow Production…. I agreed to replace it with an engagement session. SAphoto’s Slideshow Production are the best in town :), but I like to be flexible. So I thought I’d make this offer available to everybody. So here’s the new package: (more…)

Bonfire at Le Grand Lodge in Mont-Tremblant

Natasha and Marc-Andre were getting married on February 28, and instead of an engagement session they asked me if that could be replaced with pictures of a bonfire the evening before the wedding. At SAphoto we’re pretty flexible and of course it’s possible! So here it is the night before the wedding…

Vero in Studio

This time the photo shoot took place in a real studio! It is of course a different experience as lighting is highly controlled, and we get to use different props, backdrops, clothing, accessories, and etc. Veronique is an actress, and needed some new portfolio shots. So without further ado…

Candids with Nikki in Toronto studio -kind of…

Today’s post is about candid photography on the fly in any location. As a wedding photographer, I have many challenges to deal with. Sometimes location is less than picturesque, the light is changing, it’s too dark, it’s too bright, it’s raining, it’s snowing, it’s too sunny, people are in the way, space is restricted, etc., etc..

But I am paid thousands of dollars to shoot the wedding and couples expect the results they came to me for in the first place… beautiful, natural, story-telling photography. So this brings us to a portrait session with the beautiful Nikki…

You might remember Hilary and Brian from their pre-wedding portrait session in Burlington. Here they are looking their best on their wedding day which took place at the Old Mill in Ancaster on October 4, 2008. This was my last wedding of 08 and was assisted by my good friend and photographer Manuela Stefan. I seem to be blessed with easy-going and fun couples, and Hilary and Brian are no exception. Please take a moment to view the summary of their day.

Sophie & Chris in Old Quebec city

Sophie and Chris live in Ontario in a little town called Martintown. But their wedding was going to be held in my hometown city of Quebec on September 13, 2008. They’re a really nice easy going couple who was a pleasure to shoot for. Please take a look and enjoy a small tour of the old Quebec at the same time!

Serbian wedding in Toronto

I had never photographed a Serbian wedding before so it was an honour when Valentina and Steven asked me to be their wedding photographer. There are many differences, but mostly many dances happening as you will see. The wedding took place in Toronto at the Serbian Orthodox Church-St Michael the Archangel. I was assisted once again by the talented Janette Rojas. Not only this wedding was a little bit different, but I also experimented with a few new SAphoto tricks…
